Sonia Mann has been with Parikh Law Group since 2012. She has over thirteen years of litigation experience. Prior to joining PLG, Sonia attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where she obtained a B.A. in Economics and Finance. She went on to attend law school at Wayne State University Law School in Michigan and graduated in 2005. Since then, Sonia worked with two of the largest Plaintiffs’ personal injury law firms in downtown Chicago. As a litigator, she specialized in personal injury matters for over ten years, and provided legal services for clients who were victims of medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, auto accidents, wrongful death and workers compensation cases. Sonia’s passion for advocating for and protecting the rights of the elderly population and individuals who have been injured, abused or neglected fueled her commitment to obtaining favorable outcomes. In addition, for the past 4 years Sonia has extended her practice to include Immigration, advising and drafting of corporate documents, professional contract reviews, and real estate closings. In addition to working in law firm settings, Sonia has provided legal consult services with various companies and organizations including the Indo-American Center in Chicago and Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio, where she advised on international contract agreements and provided analysis for funding of research grants.

Her attention to detail is translated into her work with various legal and medical experts, filing complaints and court pleadings, court appearances, as well as taking a substantial number of depositions. Her goal is to ensure her clients are either compensated fairly and make sure their cases are handled with the utmost professional standards. She has worked on thousands of cases during her career and has obtained in excess of $9 million in settlements and judgments for her clients and their families working with insurance companies and utilizing alternative dispute resolution techniques such as mediations and pre-trials. Sonia is currently managing our Columbus, Ohio law practice in addition to serving the Chicago downtown office. She has become highly involved in the Columbus ethnic community assisting clients with Immigration matters including permanent residency, EB-5 and H1-B employment visas, student J-1 visas, and citizenship matters.
