Stephen Donnelly joined PLG in 2011 as an attorney soon after graduating from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Since joining the firm, he has worked on various litigation matters and has served as lead counsel in both bench and jury trials, arbitrations, mediations, and much more. Stephen also assists clients in avoiding litigation when disputes are in their early phases and an amicable resolution outside of court may be achieved. Stephen draws from his extensive litigation experience to advise clients to make sure they have a practical understanding of their rights, potential liability exposure, and the strategies he thinks are best suited to achieve their desired end results.

Through his representation of businesses as well as individuals, Stephen’s practice encompasses many different areas of litigation, with an emphasis on commercial litigation. Stephen has vast experience in successfully arguing contested evidentiary hearings, dispositive motions, and completing disputes all the way to judgment to the benefit of the clients he represents. His experience spans from AAA, civil courts in Illinois, and the Northern District of Illinois federal court.

In addition to litigation, Stephen draws from his experience to advise and assist clients with business strategy, contract negotiations, formation, and execution. He advises clients at every stage of their business development, whether they are looking to transform a new idea into a business venture or if they have been in business for decades.
